ဟောင်ကောင်အထူးအုပ်ချုပ်ခွင့်ရဒေသ (HKSAR) အုပ်ချုပ်ရေးမှူး လီကျားချောင်းက ရောမမြို့ရှိ UNIDROIT ရုံးချုပ်၏ ပြင်ပတွင် ပထမဆုံးရုံးခွဲအဖြစ် UNIDROIT ၏ အာရှ-ပစိဖိတ်ဆက်ဆံရေးရုံးကို ဟောင်ကောင်၌ ဖွင့်လှစ်လိုက်ခြင်းသည် UNIDROIT ၊ ဟောင်ကောင်နှင့် ဒေသတစ်ခုလုံးအတွက် အလွန်လေးနက် အရေးပါသော ဆုံးဖြတ်ချက်တစ်ခု ဖြစ်သည်ဟု ပြောကြားခဲ့သည်။

Hong Kong Legal Week 2026 opens with launch of UNIDROIT's first overseas office
HONG KONG, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) The Hong Kong Legal Week 2026 was launched on Monday, featuring discussions on topics including regional legal cooperation, international dispute resolution, the development of foreign-related rule of law, lawtech and opportunities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Kicking off the legal week, the Asia-Pacific Liaison Office of the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) was officially launched.
John Lee, chief executive of the HKSAR, said that the establishment of the UNIDROIT Asia-Pacific Liaison Office in Hong Kong -- the institute's inaugural office outside its seat in Rome -- was a decision of profound significance for UNIDROIT, Hong Kong and the entire region.
Lee said that the establishment of the office would further strengthen the long-standing collaborative relationship between Hong Kong and UNIDROIT, serving as a catalyst for a more harmonious and prosperous future for the Asia-Pacific and beyond.
Enzo Moavero-Milanesi, president of UNIDROIT, said that the Asia-Pacific region was one of the most dynamic and fastest-growing regions in the world, and that the establishment of the liaison office in Hong Kong would inject strong impetus into the development of UNIDROIT. He added that he looked forward to joining hands with Hong Kong to achieve fruitful results. ■
