Chinese vice premier to chair second China-Canada economic, financial strategic dialogue in Canada
BEIJING, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- As agreed between China and Canada, the second China-Canada Economic and Financial Strategic Dialogue will be held in Canada on November 9, a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson announced on Friday.
He Lifeng, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, will co-chair the dialogue as the Chinese lead person with the co-leaders on the Canadian side, the spokesperson said.
The Canadian co-leaders are Minister of Finance and National Revenue Francois-Philippe Champagne and Minister of International Trade Maninder Sidhu, according to the spokesperson. ■
