Coastal rowers Su/Liu claim China's first gold at Dakar Youth Olympics
SALY, Senegal, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) -- Coastal rowers Su Juntao and Liu Lili won China's first gold medal at the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games on Monday, triumphing in the mixed double sculls beach sprint final at Saly Beach West.
The Chinese pair clocked 2:22.37, finishing 6.58 seconds ahead of Austria's Lukas Schoenhuber and Alena Lux in the final.
France's Raphael de Boussac and Elisa Guilloton claimed the bronze medal. ■
